CHEMICAL PROTECTION AGAINST IONIZING RADIATIONS. REPORT 2. RELATIONSHIP OF IRRADIATION DOSE AND OPTIMUM MEG DOSE (in Japanese)

Journal Article · · Proceedings of Research Institute for Nuclear Medicine and Biology (Japan)
OSTI ID:4767084
The optimum dose of MEG (mercaptoethylguanidine), determined on the basis of the survival ratio, was obtained for 4 levels of whole-body x- irradiation of female mice (ddn strain). The MEG was injected at the neutral pH point inirradiation. The following optimum doses of MEG were determined: for 1300 r, 400 mg/kg; for 1000 r, 300 mg/kg; for 800 r 250 mg/kg; and for 600 r, 100 to 200 mg/kg. (TTT)
