Patent ·
OSTI ID:4765232
A charge-discharge device is designed for servicing a large number of fuel channels in a pressurized gascooled graphite-moderated reactor. The device comprises a pillar with a locating spigot at one end and a rotatable chute at the other end for locating the pillar at the lower end of a charge tube. A second chute is provided which is coupled with the rotatable chute and is pivotted at the coupling so that its lower end is movable radially outwards from the pillar. (D.L.C.)
