Nondestructive analysis of In was studied by means of the In/sup 115/( gamma , gamma )In/sup 115m/ reaction. The samples were irradiated in the interior section of the 10-kc Co/sup 60/ source. The presence of In was indicated clearly, and the gamma ray of 0.355 Mev of In/sup 115m/ was measured with ease. This method is also applicable for determining In in alloys. Analysis of 3 In--Sn alloys containing 30, 50, and 70% In, respectively, showed a percentage of error within 3%. (OID)
