MODIFICATION OF THE RADIOSENSITIVITY OF A TUMOR PREDECESSOR AFTER IRRADIATION (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. Rend.
OSTI ID:4755761

The radiosensitivity of an experimental tumor of the mouse can be evaluated by the action of radiations on the speed of growth. According to this criterion, the radiosensitivity of the tumors obtained from a cellular predecessor from a post-irradiation tumor relapse is reduced with respect to that of tumors obtained with the primitive cellular predecessor. This suggests that the radioresistant cellular predecessors can appear in irradiated tumors. (tr- auth)
