Determination of liquid and vapor viscosity and thermal conductivity properties of biphenyl was completed. The biphenyl heat transfer loop for liquid and vapor heat transfer, coolant decomposition, coolant deposition, erosion, and corrosion measurements at 700 to 850 deg F was put in operation. Various vapor properties of the isomeric terphenyls were calculated, and heat transfer runs with biphenyl at 700 deg F were made. Data on thermodynamic properties of biphenyl and isomeric terphenyls are included. (J.R.D.)
