NEUTRON ACTIVATION ANALYSIS AND ITS MEASURING TECHNIQUE (in German)

Journal Article · · Telefunken Ztg.
OSTI ID:4754097
The techniques and possibilities of activation analysis are outlined, and experiments made at the Technical Uni-versity of Munich are described. Activation analysis is a valuable tool as it is free of errors caused by trace contaminations, and it is suitable for both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Three methods are described in detail for testing the activity purity-testing the constant specific activity, recording the drop in activity as a function of time, and the spectroscopic examination of gamma rays. Sample spectra are given. (auth)
