The magnetic susceptibility of 99.5% pure rare metals (Ho, Dy, Tb, and Gd) was studied as a function of temperature at 300 to 1500 deg K. The results showed that only in Ho does magnetic susceptibility follow the Curie-Weiss law in the investigated temperature range. In the others, the susceptibility varies at high temperature.
