FAST NEUTRON TIME-OF-FLIGHT SPECTROMETER
A fist neutron time- of-flight spectrometer for use with a tandem accelerator is described. Charged-particle bursts of less than 2-nsec duration and with peak currents of 15 to 20 mu A are produced by bunching the negative particle beam before acceleration and chopping the positive particle beam after acceleration.
