The device described which is for processing, e.g., filtering, of radioactive fluids, consists of an outer container in a fixed position and an inner removable container, in which the processing takes place. Attached to the outer container is the inlet and the outlet pipe for the circulated fluid. The wall of the inner container is so constructed that it shields the whole device. Between the outer and the demountable inner contalner there is a sliding valve which automatically closes the inlet opening of the inner contalner when the latter is drawn out of the fixed outer container.
