THE METHOD OF NUCLEAR EMULSION AND THE PHYSICS OF ELEMENTARY PARTICLES

The chemical composition and the treatment of nuclear emulsions are discussed. The methods of identifying elementary particles (ionization tracing, multiple Coulomb scattering) and the possible applications of nuclear emulsions in the physics of elementary particles (determining the basic properties of elementary particles, studying the interaction between accelerated particles and the nucleus) are listed.
