UKAEA expects in the fall of 1963 to be able to select between their two concepts, the IBR (direct-cycle and indirect-cycle versions) and the Vulcain (spectral shift) reactor. Both concepts are integral and can be removed entirely from the ship for replacement. The ship size, capital costs, and fuel burnups are considered briefly. (D.L.C.)
