DETERMINATION OF GRSUP -/FACTORS OF 2+-ROTATIONAL STATES OF W$sup 182$ BY DIFFERENTIAL $gamma$$gamma$-ANGULAR CORRELATION MEASUREMENT IN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD (in German)
The time spectrum of the coincidences between the gamma -group at 1150 kev and the 100 kev radiation in the decay of Ta/sup 182/ was observed in an external magnetic field of 29300 ction in DDT-C/ 300 gauss at eight different angles. The analysis of these data which took into account the experimentally determined shape of the prompt resolution curve yields for the g-factor of the 2+ rotational state: g/sub R/ = +0.336 ction in DDT-C/ 0.044. The angular correlation was found to be slightly attenuated by internal fields. The integral attenuation factor was determined as: G/sub 4/ = ( lambda / lambda + lambda / sub 4/) = 0.91 ction in DDT-C/ 0.05. Liquid sources of tantalum fluoride solved in concentric hydrofluoric acid were used for these experiments. The half life of the 100 kev state was determined as: T/sub 1/2/ = (1.41 ction in DDT-C/ 0.06). 10/sup -9/ s in agreement with earlier measurements. (auth)
