The patent relates to the preparation of a liquid metal fuel, consisting of a metal carrier (Pb, Bi, or their alloys with Zn, Li, Na, and/or K) in which fuel particles are suspended. Molecular H/sub 2/ is dissociated by means of a highfrequency electric arc; the atomic H thus formed is introduced into the fused carried metal on the surface of which the fuel particles are made to float. The H deoxidizes the particles as well as the carrier metal, resulting in the wetting and dispersing of the particles. (NPO)
