An apparatus is described for the very precise measurement of weak magnetic fields. Determination is made of the Larmor precession frequency or nuclear resonance frequency of atomic nuclei in interaction with a paramagnetic substance. This interaction produces a substantial increase in the amplitude of the nuclear magnetic resonance. (R.J.S.)
