MEASUREMENT OF THE POLARIZATION CAPACITY OF OXYGEN FOR (d,d) NEUTRONS OF 2.5-3.2 Mev ENERGY (in German)

Deuterium ions were accelerated and led to a heavy ice target. The polarized neutrons produced were scattered on liquid oxygen and the azimuthal asymmetry was measured with proportional counters. A paraffin shield was used to reduce the background. The measurement results are tabulated with all values being corrected for double scattering. (J.S.R.)
