The general principles in the construction of the BP-3 heavy liquid chamber are given with a consideration of the technical difficulties involved and the advantages of such a chamber. The electro-magnet, the body of the chamber itself, the safety enclosure and the cameras, the expansion system, temperature control, and handling and operation of the chamber are described in some detail.
