ESTIMATION OF ZIRCONIUM BY ELECTROMETRIC METHODS

Potassium tellurite can be used to estimate zirconium in zirconyl chloride solutions by conductometric, potentiometric, and amperometric methods. For dilute solutions of zirconyl chloride, direct titration using a strong solution of potassium tellurite is suggested, whereas for strong solutions a reverse titration using a dilute solution of potassium tellurite and adding a strong solution of zirconyl chloride is recommended.
