TABLE OF DATA CHARACTERIZING NEUTRON-INDUCED REACTIONS (in English Hungarian)
The possible reactions and their characterizing data for each stable isotope are surveyed. The table is especially useful in planning neutron-induced experiments using the activation method and in the evaluation of the activity produced. The table includes the reactions (n,p), (n, alpha ), (n,2n), (n, gamma ), (n,d), (n,np), (n,t), (n,He/sup 3/), and (n,n' alpha ). It contains all the stable isotopes of each element and the radioactive ones of long half life (T/sub 1/2/ > 10/aup 6/ years), the residual nuclei produced in the reactions mentioned above, their half life, and the reaction threshold energy. Threshold energy values were calculated. The Q-values were taken from the table of Howerton for the reactions (n,np) and (n,n alpha ), and from the table of Ashby and Catron for the other reactions.
