ELASTIC SCATTERING OF 12.8 Mev DEUTERONS ON SOME LIGHT NUCLEI

Technique for studying the angular distributions of 12.8 Mev deuterons elastically scattered from Be, C, Mg, and Ca is briefly discussed, and values obtained for the differential cross sections are shown. Pronounced diffraction structures appeared in all cases in the angular distributions, and the third maximum is found to disappear for elements heavier than calcium. (D.C.W.)
