ELASTIC AND INELASTIC SCATTERING OF 12.8 Mev DEUTERONS ON $sup 27$Al NUCLEI

Angular distributions for elastic and inelastic scattering of 12.8 Mev deuterons on aluminum-27 nuclei have been measured. A magnetic spectrometer with the energy resolution of 150 kev has been used. Measured angular distributions corresponding to several states of the aluminum-27 nucleus have been fitted with theories of diffraction scattering. Shape and value of differential cross sections are also investigated. (auth)
