The complex of U with lactic acid was studied polarographically. The limits of reversibility and complexation, which are the function of pH and the concentration of lactic acid, are shown. E1/3 E7/8 are first used in deriving an equation for studying a polynuclear complex. Partial polymerization to form a dimer takes place in the reduced form of the complex. The complex forms and electrode reactions in various given ranges of pH value and concentration of complexing agent are proposed.
