THE RESONANCES AT 483 AND 597 kev PROTON ENERGIES IN F$sup 19$ + p REACTIONS

The resonances in the F/sup 19/ + p reactions were investigated at 483 and 597 kev proton energies. With E/sup p/ 483 kev resonance data for alpha - branching, proton capture and upper limits of the (p,p') reaction were obtained. Combining these data with the results of angular distribution measurements of gamma -rays, spin and parity 1/sup +/ have been assigned to the 13.332 Mev level in Ne/sup 20/ excited by 483 kev protons. From corresponding measurements with E/ sub p/ - 597 kev, resonance data ly assumed 2- assignment to the 13.440 Mev level in Ne/sup 20/. (auth)
