A 10-Mc scaler with 6 decades is described. The scaler is transistorized with 1242 coded indication for saving expensive decoders and because print-out will generally be used. For many scalers, a common decimal visual indication (Nixies) is provided showing the contents of any scaler by pushing a look button. One separate power supply can feed 4 scalers and has the same dimensions as a scaler (4 units high and 1/4 of 19" panel width). It is possible to place 3 scalers and power supply in a panel width, or when many scalers are used, 4 scalers per row and group all power supplies together. A full rack can contain 30 scalers with power supplies. (auth)
