ISOTOPE EFFECTS ON THE DISTILLATION OF AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS OF TRITIUM-LABELED FORMALDEHYDE (in German)

Curves are presented showing the radioactivity pattern in the fractional distillation of aqueous solutions of tritiumlabeled formaldehyde under various conditions. The fractionation of the tritium-labeled formaldehyde was much stronger than tritium-labeled water under the same conditions. It was concluded that this is the result of an equilibrium isotope effect. (M.C.G.)
