MEASUREMENT OF GAMMA RADIATION BY A THERMOLUMINESCENT DOSIMETER (in Hungarian)

Journal Article · · Mag. Tud. Akad. At. Kut. Int. (Debrecen), Kozlemen.
OSTI ID:4696920
For uses in radiotherapeutical dosimetry, a very smallsize thermoluminescent dosimeter was devised, composed of CaSO/sub 4/: Mn crystals. A very simple and handy evaluation equipment was constructed employing the existing nuclear instrument range. According to measurements, the intensity of the emitted thermoluminescent light is proportional over a wide range, between 10 and 1500 rads, to the absorbed dose. In addition, parameters of the micro-crystals were determined. (auth)
