EXTRACTION OF CESIUM POLYIODIDES FROM AQUEOUS PHASE INTO NITROBENZENE (in Russian)

The influence of pH, cesium concentration, ratio of iodine and iodide, and various cations and anions on solvent extraction of cesium polyiodide from the aqueous phase into nitrobenzene was studied. Separation of Ce from long- lived products and Ru/sup 4+/, Rb/sup +/, K/sup +/, Na/sup +/, Ca/sup 2+/, and Mg/ sup 2+/ was studied and conditions for Ce re-extraction from nitrobenzene into aqueous phase were found.
