Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4693224
Some of the control and safety circuits used in NPR are discussed. Their likenesses and differences and the philosophies from which they stemmed are considered. They are: the rod scram circuit and ball drop circuit that ensure rapid reactor shutdown, a power setback circuit, an emergency cooling circuit, and all other miscellaneous control circuits. Figures and photographs are presented. (M.C.G.)
