NOTE ON THE CHARACTER OF FIRST EXCITED STATES (2+) OF Yb$sup 170$, Os$sup 186$, AND Os$sup 18$$sup 8$ (in French)

Journal Article · · Ann. Soc. Sci. Bruxelles, Ser. I
OSTI ID:4688512
The conserved vector current theory of weak interactions applied to the analysis of the first-forbidden betadecays (1-) yields (2+) and (1--) yields (0+) of Tm/sup 170/, Re/sup 186/, and Re/sup 188/ yields rather accurate values of the individual nuclear matrix elements involved in these transitions. It is shown that these values are in good agreement with a pure rotational excitation of the first-excited (2+)-states of the daughter-nuclei. (auth)
