SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF SAMARIUM AND EUROPIUM (in Russian)

A spectrophotometric method is suggested for the determination of Sm by its absorption band at 1090 m mu and Eu by its absorption band at 394 m mu with the use of the infrared band of Sm absorption. The method may be successfully used for determining Eu and Sa in their concentrates of any composition, as well as in technical Sm an Eu oxides. The method may be also used for the expressanalysis in the control of technological procedures of Sm and Eu separation. (auth)
