MAGNETIC AND HYSTERESIS PROPERTIES OF DYSPROSIUM AND TERBIUM (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Fiz. Metal. i Metalloved.
OSTI ID:4673471
Investigations of the temperature dependence of residual magnetization and coercive force (H/sub c/) revealed a maximum H/sub c/ near the ferromagnetic- helicoil transition point at 95 deg K for Dy and 219 deg C for Tb. The residual magnetization of Dy and Tb decreased linearly with increasing temperature until a sharp drop was reached near the theta /sub i/ point ( theta /sub i/ = 85 deg K for Dy and 219 deg K for Tb).
