EVIDENCE OF A RADIORESISTANCE OF SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE DURING MITOSIS (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. Rend.
OSTI ID:4654680

The radiosensitivity of Saccharomyces cerevisiae was studied after different time periods in sporulation medium. A very high radioresistance to gamma rays was found in mitotic cells. On the contrary, no variation of resistance to ultraviolet irradiation was established. The sites attacked by these two radiations should be different. (tr-auth)
