LIFETIME OF THE 70-Kev LEVEL IN Sb$sup 12$$sup 1$

Journal Article · · Current Sci. (India)
OSTI ID:4650151
Delayed coincidence measurements gave a value of 8 plus or minus 1.5 nsec for the lifetime of the 70-kev Sb/sup 121/ level. Gupta's proposed ordering of the Sb/sup 121/ levels (70, 576, and 1200 kev) was confirmed. The lifetime of the 576-kev level was determined to be <1 nsec. If the 70-kev transition is pure M1, the measured lifetime gives a retardation factor of about 360. (D.C.W.)
