RESONANCE SCATTERING OF A 7.28-Mev GAMMA LINE ON Pb$sup 20$$sup 8$ (in German)

From the known scattering of the 7.28 Mev line of the neutron capture spectra of Fe/sup 56/, under the assumption of a single level of Pb/sup 208/ contributed by scattering, the ground transition width was determined to be gamma /sub o/ = 0.80 plus or minus 0.08 ev. For the branching ratio gamma / gamma /sub o/ of this state a value of 1.4 was obtained with an uncertainty of a factor of 1.5. (tr-auth)
