GAMMA RAYS FROM INELASTIC SCATTERING OF 14-MEV NEUTRONS ON Pb$sup 20$$sup 8$

The cross section for the productlon of 2.61-Mev gamma rays from the Pb/ sup 208/(n,n')Pb/sup 208/ reaction was measured for five different angles from 50 to 130 deg The angular distribution appeared to be isotropic within the precision of the experiments and led to an integrated cross section of 25.5 plus or minus 4.6 mb.
