The results of a series of conductometric titrations of cerium(III) against seleneous acid with an overall concentration of 70% ethanol are reported. The possibility of carrying out direct as well as reverse titrations over a wide concentration range of cerium (III) was established and the effect of ethanol concentration was also studied. Under the cited conditions the study lends support to the formation of cerous normal selenite STAmolar ratio of Ce(III) : Se being 2 : 3!. (auth)
