THE EFFECT OF pH AND MOLAL RATIO IN THE PREPARATION OF RADIOIODINE-LABELED THYROXINE AND 3,5,3'-TRI-IODOTHYRONINE

Journal Article · · Intern. J. Appl. Radiation Isotopes

The effects of variations of pH and molal ratios are studied in the preparation of iodine-131-labeled thyroxine by exchange and in the preparation of iodine-131-labeled 3,3',5-triiodothyronine by exchange and by direct iodination of 3,5-diiodothyronine. A procedure is developed for analytical chromatographic separations. (T.F.H.)
