Self-radiation products of I/sup 131/-labeled 3,5,3'-triiodo-lthyroninc were studied quantitatively. The four major radiochemical breakdown products formed are I/sup 131/, I/sup 131/ factorily revealed. The stabiltzation energy for the forma labeled 3,5-diiodothyronine, I/sup 131/-labeled thyroxine, and an hydroxyl acid analogue of triiodothyronine or of diiodothyronine or of both. The possible mechanisnm of selfradiation decomposition is discussed. (auth)
