SAFETY AMPLIFIER FOR THE ROSSENDORF RING ZONE REACTOR (in German)

Journal Article · · Kernenergie (East Germany)
OSTI ID:4637083
A safety amplifier constructed from semiconductor elements was developed for use in the Rossendorf ring-zone reactor. This device uses ionization currents from 3 x 10/sup -9/ to 1 x 10/sup -4/ amp in nine measurement ranges. In each measurement range the value was regulated 100% with a fine control. The alarm or safety circuit of the reactor was tested at 110 and 120%. According to specifications, the safety amplifier can be introduced into the reactor circuit only by hand. The feed voltage for the ionization circuit is also introduced in the safety circuit. (tr-auth)
