Carrier-free /sup 11/C-labeled dopamine hydrochloride was synthesized using carrier-free H/sup 11/CN as a precursor. Tissue distribution studies on five dogs showed a specific localization in the adrenal medu1la. Tissue distribution studies with /sup 11/C-labeled noradrenaline are in progress. (auth)
