Particle-number spectrum of extensive air showers at sea level

Experimental results are presented on the investigation of the spectra of extensive air showers with respect to the number of particles N in the interval 10/sup 6/ to 10/sup 8/. The data indicate that the particle-number spectrum experiences a change in the region N > 10/sup 7/ (auth).
