Effect of complex formation on diffusion of U$sup 3+$ in NaCl--NaF and CsCl- -CsF melts (in Russian)

The diffusion coefficients of U in fused NaCl-NaF and CsCl-CsF were measured by the chronopotentiometric method. It wss shown that the addition of fluorine to the chloride melts decreases the diffusion rate of U because of the increase of its bonds with fluorine anions. The large effect of the castion medium on the sizes of the U/sup 3+/ diffusion coefficients in mixed chloride- fluoride melts in comparison with chloride melts was established. (tr-auth)
