Title: INVESTIGATIONS OF Ce$sup 144$ DECAY USING $beta$$-$$gamma$ COINCIDENCES (in Russian)

The decay scheme of Ce/sup 144/-- Pr/sup 144/ was studied. Results indicate that BETA spectra coincidences with three different areas of gamma spectra are quite complex. In basic transition into Pr/sup 144/ spectrum BETA / sub 4/ falls out. Observations of BETA -- gamma cascades point out that BETA transitions of BETA /sub 3/(E/sub BETA max/= 230 kev) and BETA /sub 2/ (E/sub BETA max/ = 175 kev) excite Pr/sup 144/ levels with the energ y of 80 and 134 kev, respectively. The spectrum BETA /sub 1/(E/sub BETA max/ = 130 kev) was observed on all rectified graphs. The BETA spectrum softer than 175 kev indicates the evidence of Pr/sup 144/ excitation level located above 134 kev level. (R.V.J.)
