SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF CARBON, HYDROGEN, AND NITROGEN

A method of simultaneous carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen determinations in 3 to 5 mg samples of organic compounds is presented. Organic combustion products are measured as hydrogen, nftrogen, and carbon dioxide in a simple apparatus. Samples contalning carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, halogens,and sulfur can be analyzed to the same accuracy as by conventional methods. (auth)
