Fluorocarbon Gas Bubble Chamber

In the search for a suitable gas-liquid system for bubble chambcrs fluorocarbons were found to have very favorable properties. An experimental bubble chamber which has been successfully operated with an ethforane (C/sub 2/F/ sub 6/propforane (C/sub 3/F/sub 8/) gas-liquid system is described. (A.C.)
