Application of process computers in the reactor protection system of nuclear power plants with boiling water reactors (in German)

From international nuclear industries fair; Basel, Switzerland (16 Oct 1972). The reactor safety system of AEG boiling water reactors will be equipped with three process computers as evaluation units. The computers check all analog and digital signals every 30 ms. The hardware system and the operation manner are described. Some properties of the computer system are mentioned and compared with a hardwired system. (auth)
