From 3rd Health Physics Society midyear topical symposium; Los Angeles, Californla, USA (29 Jan 1969). See CONF-690103Pl. Cine-radio-fluorographic and rapid sequence filming procedures were studied using thermoluminescent dosimetry. The radiation dose received by patients undergoing special x-ray examinations was considerably greater than that received during routine procedures. However, the dose was within accepted limits and was not believed to be high enough to cause permanent injury. It is recommended that both copper and aluminum be utilized in diagnostic x-ray units.
