ELASTIC SCATTERING OF 580 Mev NEUTRONS BY PROTONS IN THE LOW ANGLE REGION (in Russian)

The differential cross sections for scattering of 580Mev neutrons by protons into angles of 11, 23, and 35 deg (cms) were measured. A rapid rise of the cross sections with decrease of the scattering angle was observed. The results indicate that the probabilities for scattering in the forward'' and backward'' directions are approximately equal. (tr-auth)
