Small-angle neutron-proton elastic scattering at 580 MeV

The differential 580-Mev neutron-proton elastic scattering cross sections for the angles 11deg, 23 deg, and 35 deg (center of mass system) have been measured. A sharp rise of the cross sections with the decrease of scattering angle has been found. The results point out the approximately equal probability of the ''forward'' and ''backward'' scattering.
