Absolute triton and alpha -particle yields from the /sup 6/Li(n,t)/sup 4/He reaction were measured at 8 lab angles between 0 deg and 90 deg for neutron energies between 0.1 and 1.8 MeV. Incident neutrons with a continuous energy distribution were used, and reaction yields were measured as a function of detected particle energy and the sum of particle-plus-neutron flight times. Yield data were converted to (n,t) c.m. differential cross sections at 16 angles between 0 deg and 180 deg . Each of the 25 angular distributions obtained was fitted to a series of Legendre polynomials. The coefficients of the P/sub o/ terms are in excellent agreement with recent total cross section measurements. The behavior of the other coefficients, particularly the coefficients of the P/ sub 1/ terms in the vicinity of the resonance at E/sub n/ = 247 keV, will require modifications in previous R-matrix parameterizations of the reaction.
