A DETERMINATION OF THE LAPLACIANS IN GLEEP

An attempt has been made to determine the laplacians in Gleep by exploring the thermal-neutron flux distribution with indium foils. The laplacian of the uranium metal-graphite lattice is 0.92 plus or minus 0.04 m/sup -2/ and the laplacian of the uranium dioxide-graphite lattice is 0.66 plus or minus 0.04 m/sup -2/. (auth)
